I think this may be the first video I edited all on my own and it was so much fun to make. Kyle Pearson and I got together and talked about our favorite tricks and how we wished other people would do them. So we made this video telling them to learn these tricks, lol. The tricks are played first in slo-mo and then later at regular speed.

Kyle Pearson, aka FIZX, is the guy that got me into yo-yoing, so I owe him a great deal. This is a video documenting his best tricks from 2002-2006.

Over the next month or so I will be posting up all of my personal yo-yo video projects that I’ve made so far, but before I get to the first videos I ever made, it’s important to me that I tell you how I stumbled into all of this yo-yo madness.
On May 5, 2001 I started throwing a yo-yo, because I saw Kyle Pearson at the local skatepark throwing one in the parking lot. His Atom Smasher and Brain Twister combos mesmerized me and we talked for quite a while. I told him that I was going to buy a yo-yo and that he was going to teach me some stuff.
Two years later I met Connor and Tyler Ebbinghouse. They were 8 and 10 years old and it was my job to look after them 3 days a week during the summer of 2003. I ended up teaching them how to yo-yo and they ended up teaching me how to use iMovie. Kyle and I had some tricks we wanted to document, so we went out filming and afterwards the boys patiently walked me through how to create my vision in iMovie. The first to come of this was…
