Eric Tranton using a Beef and Superstar.
Filming done on an HV40 and edited on Final Cut Pro & LiveType.
Filmed on Christmas Day (which also happens to be Eric’s birthday).
Also, it was raining and was freezing when we filmed. Just something for you all to consider. :)

This video comes to you courtesy of SY Blog. It features Lim Aik Hwee of Duncan Crew Singapore using a Hayabusa. Jayson (from SY Blog) commented that Singapore is small, so their crew gets to meet often and they’re very familiar with the styles and skills of Lim Aik Hwee. But unfortunately, the rest of the world isn’t as familiar. At most, they see him at contests maybe once or twice a year. Jayson was glad to publish this video so the rest of the would could have a better look at what goes on in Singapore.

video featuring Ray Godefroid using the Split Decision yoyo by Werrd.
All filming & editing done by Aron Bendet using a Vixia HV40 and Final Cut Pro.
Music is Royksopp – Happy Up Here
No color editing was used, I felt like the natural colors added more to the video than they would have if I corrected them.

This was a video I filmed of Ross that I had been wanting to do for a long time. I had seen him develop from the time he started yoyoing, as he had seen of me. These tricks all have such great great qualities, and all of them have a beginning, middle, and end. The style, the flow, the everything just makes this one of my favorite videos that I have made because it showcases all of Ross’ tricks of that time.

Bend and Fold was pretty significant for me on a personal level. It was the first video that I ever put out where I started to feel like I was showcasing my “own style” and not a mishmash of my versions of other styles of 1A trickery. It was also the first video to show how to “bend” a mount. And while I was one of the few people who popularized folding gates, (Along with Drew Tetz, Sonny Patrick, Simon Welch, and a few others) there aren’t any in this video. The rest of the name is just a coincidence. Go figure!
